Short Bio
Originally from Los Angeles, California, USA, I started as a Civil Engineering student at California State University, Fullerton. I later found out through a non-major biology class, that I had a strong passion for animals and the environment. I switched majors and studied fish reproductive morphology and endocrine disruption for my Undergraduate degree. I was then given the opportunity to study persistent organic pollutants and trace metals in green sea turtles when I started my master’s at the Shark Lab in California State University, Long Beach. After completing my Master of Science I decided to make a big move and study sea turtle toxicology at Griffith University, Gold Coast. My research focuses on how contaminants may affect the reproduction of sea turtles.

Position
Senior Research Assistant – Marine Wildlife Toxicology
