Short bio
Elissa graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Queensland after which she went on to complete a PhD. Her PhD was completed at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences where she researched the presence, fate, and risk of UV filters in the aquatic environment. She now works as a research assistant across projects investigating the toxicity of water samples using a range of bioassays. Elissa is also passionate about environmental awareness and enjoys taking mindful walks in nature.
Position
