Short Bio
Taryn Perrior is a budding marine scientist with a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Marine Biology from Flinders University. She has worked on several research projects related to wildlife ecology and biochemistry. Her research focused on the spatio-temporal variation of elephant fish feeding ecology using a multimethod approach, including eDNA, stomach content, fatty acid, and stable isotope analysis. Currently, Taryn is employed as a research assistant at ARI-TOX where she assists Dr Jason van De Merwe and Dr Kimberly Finlayson in the investigation of sea turtle standing events through toxicology.
